Club make contact for Chelsea player amidst possibility of contract termination

Chelsea loaned out Axel Disasi to Aston Villa earlier this year and with the loan stint now having ended, the Frenchman’s situation is attracting attention again.

The centre-back played 10 times in all competitions for the Birmingham club and now, Juventus are trying to bring him to Turin.

TuttoJuve have reported that ‘in the last few hours’, the Bianconeri have made an initial survey to know about Disasi’s situation at Chelsea.

The Italian giants are said to be attracted by the France international’s versatility, as he can play at both right-back and at centre-back.

The outlet also claims that Disasi’s time at Stamford Bridge is about to end and the two parties are set to mutually terminate the player’s contract.

This can provide further hope to Juve, who will then be able to sign the 27-year-old on a free transfer, having also tried to sign him in the previous January transfer window.

It remains to be seen if the contacts escalate further but Disasi hasn’t had an impactful time at Chelsea. He was a regular under Mauricio Pochettino then fell out of favour under Enzo Maresca.
