Guido Rodríguez will leave West Ham United this summer, with the Hammers making it clear that he’s ‘transferable’.
That’s [according to Estadio Deportivo](https://www.estadiodeportivo.com/futbol/fichajes/piden-fichaje-guido-rodriguez-20250610-498913.html), who say that the World Cup winner hasn’t fit in at West Ham and now has his eyes firmly on the transfer window.
The report that the 31-year-old has numerous offers on the table, particularly across the pond, where he is popular in his home country, Argentina, and Mexico.
América have been exploring the possibility of brining him back for some time and are now trying to convince the West Ham man on the move. River Plate have also entered negotiations with West Ham to assess his signing.
That transfer wouldn’t happen until later in the summer, though, as the deadline for new signings for the Club World Cup is today (Tuesday).
Either way, a departure is now seen as 100% certain. Indeed, Estadio report that West Ham have made it clear to the midfielder, whose current contract runs until 2027, that he is ‘transferable’ this summer.
In other words, he’s not in Graham Potter’s plans moving forwards and it’s time to find himself a new club. Whether that is América, River Plate or someone else entirely, is yet to be discovered.
