Man United transfers: 2 stars wanted by their former manager

Man United are set for a busy summer transfer window. 2 of their current players are wanted by their former manager. The Red Devils are already open to letting the players leave.

Manchester United have suffered a lot this season. Firstly, they finished on 15th position in Premier League. In addition, they lost Europa League final against Tottenham Hotspur and will now miss playing in Europe next season. Hence, many changes are set to happen at Old Trafford this summer.

Ruben Amorim is keen to improve his attacking unit. The Red Devils have signed Matheus Cunha and are now closing in on Bryan Mbeumo. They are also willing to sign a consistent goalscorer. But, the club can’t only focus on signing as they need to sell some players too.

2 Man United stars linked with move to Germany

Bayer Leverkusen have signed Erik Ten Hag as their new head coach. The Dutch manager earlier used to work for United. He is now willing to sign some of his former players for German club. As of now, he is willing to reunite with 2 stars.

Firstly, Ten Hag is showing strong interest to sign Alejandro Garnacho. The 20 year old has fallen down the pecking order at Old Trafford. As a result, the Red Devils are keen to sell him in order to raise funds. Ten Hag is aware of Garnacho’s skills and hence wants him at Leverkusen.

Now, Stretty News have reported that Ten Hag also wants to sign his former striker. The Dutch manager is planning to sign Rasmus Hojlund. The 22 year old has failed to adapt to the Premier League. Hence, United are keen to replace him with a more proven goalscorer.

Hojlund is in no hurry to leave United. He has contract running until 2030 at Old Trafford. But, he will feel powerless to stay if the clubs makes it clear to him that they want to sell him. The 22 year old will surely not like to spend most of his time sitting on bench.
