Arsenal have held talks to sign Bayern Munich winger Leroy Sane, but according to Sky Sports reporter Sacha Tavolieri, Turkish outfit Galatasaray are now leading the race to sign him.
Sane, who has previously been described as 'world-class', is out of contract this summer, meaning he's free to speak to clubs over a free transfer move. Despite the lack of transfer fee, it certainly won't be a cheap deal for any interested party to complete, with the German international currently earning £325,000-a-week at the Allianz Arena.
The Gunners are in the market for attacking reinforcements for the summer transfer window after a disappointing season when it comes to their output in the final third. Injuries to key players such as Kai Havertz and Bukayo Saka in attack showed their lack of quality throughout the squad, so it could be a priority area for the coming months.
