Man United could hijack Chelsea’s move to sign Borussia Dortmund winger James Gittens by offering Jadon Sancho in a swap deal.
Jadon Sancho is due to leave Man United this summer after he returned from his loan deal at Chelsea, after the Blues decided to pay £5m not to sign him for £25m in the summer.
The Red Devils are looking to sell the English winger this summer, and now need to find a buyer for him. Sancho made 31 Premier League appearances last season, scoring three goals and providing four assists.

According to a report by the Athletic, Borussia Dortmund are considering a move to sign Sancho, who has had two very successful spells with the club so far in his career.
This comes just as Chelsea have submitted a £42m bid to sign Dortmund winger Jamie Gittens, which was reported by reliable transfers journalist Fabrizio Romano.

Sancho could replace Gittens at Dortmund this summer, handing Man United with the perfect opportunity to offload the English winger, and they could choose to do it in different way in order to bag himself a top talent in attack.
Man United could offer Sancho for Gittens
In January, there were reports suggesting that Man United were interested in signing Jamie Gittens from Dortmund, but reported interest has quietened since then.
However, seeing as the German club are keen to bring Sancho back to the Bundesliga, Man United could try and offer a swap deal which would see Gittens come to Old Trafford. Gittens made 32 Bundesliga appearances for Dortmund last season, scoring eight goals and providing three assists.
It would be a cheeky deal for Man United to offer as they could beat Chelsea to signing Gittens, and in turn offload Sancho, something that they are aiming to do this summer too.
It wouldn’t just be a signing of intent, it would also show fellow Premier League teams, that the Red Devils remain a huge club, and a team that still has excellent pulling power in the transfer market.
