Wild video: Fans hurl food, drinks at former Kentucky star DeMarcus Cousins

A wild scene unfolded Monday night as former Kentucky basketball and Sacramento Kings star DeMarcus Cousins clashed with fans after being ejected from a game in Puerto Rico.

Cousins, 34, had to be restrained from going after fans who hurled food and drinks at him as he exited the arena during a Baloncesto Superior Nacional league game between the Guaynabo Mets and Bayamon Cowboys.

One video showed Cousins, a four-time NBA All-Star, grabbing his crotch during a confrontation with fans who were sitting courtside. One man directed two middle fingers at Cousins and another appeared to slap at him before two of Cousins’ teammates intervened.

Another video showed fans taunting Cousins as he left the floor and headed to the locker room following his ejection. Cousins exchanged words with fans, put a hand in one man’s face and made an obscene gesture as fans threw food and drinks at him. Cousins again tried to go after fans before several members of arena security could lead him out of the building.
