Pro Football Hall of Famer and legendary New York Giants coach Bill Parcells will be getting another Hall of Fame honor in 2025, this time from the New England Patriots.
The Patriots have announced that Parcells and former New England wide receiver Julian Edelman will be inducted into the team’s Hall of Fame during a ceremony on Saturday, Sept. 20.
Parcells coached the Giants to Super Bowl titles in 1986 and 1990. He became a member of the Giants Ring of Honor in 2010 and was voted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2013.
Parcells is the only head coach in NFL history to lead four different teams to the playoffs and three different teams to a conference championship game. He coached the Patriots to an 11-5 record and an AFC Championship in 1996.
From a Giants’ perspective, it is a little weird to see Parcells going into another franchise’s Hall of Fame. At least it’s not the Dallas Cowboys.
