Arsenal are currently in pursuit of Benjamin Sesko as Mikel Arteta looks to strengthen his front line this summer.
The Gunners fell short in their pursuit of last season’s Premier League title, while the Champions League also eluded them.
A new striker is a high priority for Arsenal before next season and Andrea Berta has been busy looking to seal a deal early on in the summer.
Sesko is very much in Arsenal’s sights after an impressive campaign for RB Leipzig.
Sky Sport Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg has now shared an update regarding a late push from the Saudi Professional League on the first transfer deadline day of the summer.

Benjamin Sesko’s preference is to continue with Arsenal
Florian Plettenberg took to Sky Sports to claim that two clubs from Saudi Arabia have enquired about Benjamin Sesko “in the last few hours”.
However, the reporter urged Arsenal fans not to panic, because Sesko’s camp reportedly told them that his preference is the Emirates Stadium.
“Don’t panic, the deal is still on between RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko and Arsenal!
“Two clubs from Saudi Arabia have enquired about Sesko in the last few hours, but they have been told that Sesko’s preference is to continue with Arsenal as he is too young to go to Saudi Arabia.
“Arsenal are still working on a verbal agreement, but as long as there is no verbal agreement, other teams do still have a chance.
“But at this stage, the talks are still ongoing between the Gunners and Sesko for a summer transfer.”

Which other strikers are Arsenal keen on alongside Benjamin Sesko?
TBR Football chief correspondent Graeme Bailey recently confirmed that Arsenal are pushing to finalise a deal for Sesko.
The move will be less than his official release clause and Arsenal hope a deal could be around £60million – but it is likely to be closer to £70million.
Sporting CP goal machine Viktor Gyokeres is also still in Arsenal’s sights after an incredibly prolific campaign for the Portuguese giants.
Indeed, Arsenal sources suggest they could still move for Gyokeres if they don’t get Sesko, but their priority is now in place.
