Nottingham Forest’s City Ground stages England against Senegal this evening.
Thomas Tuchel’s side are heading to the banks of the River Trent after a less than convincing 1-0 win against Andorra on Saturday.
England played in front of just 10,000 in Barcelona, which certainly didn’t help the drab World Cup qualifier.
That’s not expected to be the case at the City Ground, though, as tickets have sold out at the 30,000-seater stadium.
Ahead of the game, it’s emerged that 10 Nottingham Forest legends will receive a special award on the pitch.

The 10 Nottingham Forest legends receiving an award ahead of England vs Senegal
Earlier this week, Tuchel said Nottingham has a ‘rich football heritage’ and is happy his side are visiting the Tricky Trees this evening.
That history will be on show just before kick-off tonight, as these 10 club legends will be given a legacy cap, which marks their international number.
Before #ENGSEN kickoff at the City Ground, legacy cap presentations will be made to 10 former players to have represented England while playing for #NFFC or family representatives, says @FA. These are:
-The family of Fred and Frank Forman
-Frank Wignall
-Ian Storey-Moore

Steve Hodge, for example, was the 996th player to play for England, so his cap will be centred around that number.
It’s a relatively new celebration that the FA have introduced, with the concept first surfacing in 2019, when England played their 1000th game against Montenegro.
Morgan Gibbs-White excited to play for England at the City Ground
Forest fans attending this evening will be hopeful of getting a glimpse of one of their own Morgan Gibbs-White.
Gibbs-White played just one minute against Andorra, but many expect him to be more involved in front of his home fans.
The 25-year-old admitted earlier this week that he’s hopeful of getting onto the pitch.
“It’s exciting to be playing at ‘home’ at the City Ground. It will be an incredible atmosphere no doubt,” Gibbs-White said.
“Hopefully I’ll get the chance to step on the field. I’m really looking forward to it. You never know whether you’re going to get picked or not, so just to be in this camp and to have featured in the one in March has given me more belief in myself.
“I’m playing and training with some of the best players in the world – the opportunity to learn from these guys is amazing.”
