France will compete in EuroBasket 2025. We don’t know who will be on the men’s national team just yet. But since Washington Wizards guard Bilal Coulibaly and center Alex Sarr are on the preliminary roster, there’s a chance that we’ll see one or even both on the final team.

Here’s Les Bleus’ schedule which will be busy throughout all of August and into September.

**France’s friendly schedule (All Times EDT)**

----------------------------------------------

* August 4 vs. Montenegro – Mouilleron-le-Captif (3:00 PM)

* August 8 vs. Great Britain – Pau, France (3:00 PM)

* August 14 vs. Spain – Badalona (3:00 PM)

* August 16 vs. Spain – Paris (3:00 PM)

* August 24 vs. Greece – Athens (Time TBD)

**EuroBasket 2025 Group D games in Katowice, Poland**

-----------------------------------------------------

* August 28 vs. Belgium – 9:00 AM

* August 30 vs. Slovenia – 9:00 AM

* August 31 vs. Israel – 11:00 AM

* September 2 vs. Poland – 2:30 PM

* September 4 vs. Iceland – 8:00 AM

France will be tested early in the group stage, especially against Slovenia and Luka Doncic, but Wizards fans will get preview of what Coulibaly and Sarr might bring to D.C. if both suit up for France—as future leaders of both a national team and a rebuilding franchise.

Within the group Iceland appears to be the weakest team while Poland and Israel have been trending downward. Slovenia has the most star power while in the group. Belgium gives Les Bleus a chance to play against their northern neighbor and one of their cultural rivals.
