The NBA playoffs has exposed many superstars, as Alex Caruso has been a pest defending against the Memphis Grizzlies, Denver Nuggets and the Minnesota Timberwolves.
With two small market NBA teams competing in the 2025 NBA Finals, history will be made no matter who wins. The Indiana Pacers or the Oklahoma City Thunder will win their first NBA championship.
Also for not mattering who wins, a former Aggie basketball player will get an NBA ring. Quenton Jackson of the Pacers or Caruso of the Thunder will win a championship this season.

It seems like Caruso has been more talked about the past few years than Jackson, but Jackson has been making noise for the Pacers this season. He had a career-high 24 points against the Houston Rockets early in the season. Jackson as an Aggie was an underrated shooter, as he averaged 10.4 points a game during his senior season.
Jackson and Caruso both have something in common, as they weren't looked at as valuable picks. They have stayed in the NBA longer than expected. Jackson has been floating around the G League while finally getting a chance with the Pacers.
Caruso has been one of the most known former Aggies, as an NBA championship in 2020 with the Los Angeles Lakers helped solidify his resume as a serious player. Lakers fans have regretted giving up Caruso, as he has identified himself as scrappy defensive presence. Caruso is no doubt playing some of the best basketball in his career, and has come through defensively as a clutch player.
