Jazz Will Reportedly Try ‘Pretty Hard’ To Move 2 Key Players In Offseason

The Utah Jazz haven’t made many offseason moves over the last few years, but times have changed, and now they may be ready to shake things up.

According to Tony Jones, per Legion Hoops, the Jazz will try “pretty hard” to trade both Collin Sexton and Jordan Clarkson in the months ahead.

These two players have integrated themselves deeply into the Jazz lineup, so it’s surprising to hear that both of them could be shipped out this summer.

Sexton has been with the Jazz since 2022-23 after spending his first four seasons with the Cleveland Cavaliers.

During his time with the Jazz, he has averaged 17.5 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 4.2 assists.

As for Clarkson, he has been there even longer, having come to the Jazz in 2019-20.

His six seasons in Utah have featured an average of 17.5 points as well, along with 3.6 rebounds and 3.3 assists.

The fact that both of these players might be leaving suggests the Jazz are intent on doing things differently this summer.

They have been suffering for years, but they are ready to try to change that.

The bigger question is if the Jazz will trade any other players.

Lately, there have been growing rumors about the team being open to the idea of trade offers for Lauri Markkanen and Walker Kessler.

So, are Sexton and Clarkson just the tip of the iceberg, and will the Jazz radically shake things up in the months ahead?

Fans have gotten used to Utah sticking with the same team, season after season, even as they struggle.

But it sounds like things are on the verge of a big shift.
