West Ham are in desperate need of goal scorers in the transfer window.
The Irons finished the campaign as the sixth-lowest scorers in the Premier League after a miserable season.
The likes of Niclas Fullkrug and Evan Ferguson failed to impress when leading the line for the London Stadium club in the absence of Michail Antonio.
The former may be sold, and the latter’s loan is not expected to be turned into a permanent deal after he failed to notch a single goal.

West Ham ‘taking a punt’ with Cummings signing
The Hammers have reportedly signed Celtic youngster Daniel Cummings on a free transfer and he is set to join up with the East London outfit on 1 July.
MORE WEST HAM STORIES
TV commentator Ian Darke believes that the signing is a punt but that it could work out for the young Scot, who will join the senior side after 23 youth goals in 28 matches this season.
Speaking exclusively to West Ham Zone, he said: “It is a big squad that you have, isn’t it, so I think you can take a punt on a player like that, it is a punt that it will come off.
“You will look at it and say, ‘Well, here is a player that we have got in for next to nothing and we are getting a good tune out of him’.
“I think clubs take little punts like that, and some of them actually come off, there is nothing wrong with that in my view.
“You don’t want to build a whole squad of players who fit that description; that wouldn’t be right, but I think the odd one in there is not a bad idea.
“Those figures sound quite promising, and you know they have had a look at him and think he might come off.”

West Ham need senior attacking additions
It is imperative that Graham Potter does not have to rely on the 19-year-old; he must be handed some senior attacking options this summer.
The Irons have been linked with the likes of Aleksandar Mitrovic, Davie Selke and Richard Kone, so that suggests that they will be active and not just place the burden on the ex-Hoops man.
If Potter is to revamp his side and take them up the table next season, he needs David Sullivan to find him a quality attacker, maybe even multiple options.
