Wolves are eyeing a move to sign Barcelona sensation Gerard Martin as a replacement for Rayan Ait-Nouri, according to Sport.
Vitor Pereira's side had a terrific second half of the season as they moved away from the relegation zone, with the Portuguese coach earning a nomination for manager of the season for his role in their transformation.
But the black country club are set to see a host of first-team stars move on this summer, with Matheus Cunha and Ait-Nouri having already completed moves to Manchester United and City respectively, and now they are eyeing their replacements.
Wolves Want to Sign Martin
Willing to offer him a 'significant' pay-rise
Gerard Martin
After Algeria international Ait-Nouri completed a move to Man City on Monday, Wolves have now identified Barcelona youngster Gerard Martin as an ideal replacement.
The 23-year-old, who has been described as 'brilliant', made 42 appearances for the La Liga champions under Hansi Flick last season, but ultimately is second-choice behind Alejandro Balde and Wolves are hopeful of convincing him that more regular game time can be sought at Molineux.
Barcelona have valued the Spaniard at €12m (£10.1m), and are willing to sell him if they receive an offer in that region. However, Wolves must convince the player that the move is the right one for him to continue to develop his career.

It's currently believed that Martin would prefer to stay at the Nou Camp, but Wolves are willing to hand him a 'significant pay-rise' on a long-term contract, and with Barcelona not standing in the way of a move, there is some optimism that a deal could happen.
Pereira is looking to strengthen the squad this summer to move away from another potential relegation battle, and the club moved quickly to tie Brazil midfielder Joao Gomes to a new contract in order to fend off interest from bigger clubs.
Clement Bischof is another player who has reportedly been targeted as a replacement for Ait-Nouri, but as it stands no formal bids have been placed yet.
