While the Durant era will end with no hardware to show for, and a roster depleted in depth, fans will still get to cherish the fact that an all-time player shared the floor with the franchise superstar.
There are many names rumored to be in the Durant sweepstakes, with the Houston Rockets and San Antonio Spurs leading the way in the conversation.
The Minnesota Timberwolves and New York Knicks are teams to keep an eye on.
Regardless of where he lands, expect activity on the trade market to take place shortly after the NBA Finals end.
