Are the Utah Jazz finally ready to be active on the trade market?
They are a team that hasn’t done much over the last few years, and when other front offices call, they drive a hard bargain and don’t negotiate well.
But they might be on the verge of changing all that.
According to Sarah Todd, via Fullcourtpress, the Jazz are “willing to hear trade offers for Walker Kessler.”
If this is true, it could indicate a massive sea change within the team’s front office.

Kessler has spent his first three seasons in the league with the Jazz, averaging 9.4 points and 9.2 rebounds during that time.
He was one of the crown jewels of the Jazz, and they treated him as though he were untouchable for years.
Like Lauri Markkanen, the Jazz didn’t even contemplate moving Kessler, but now they are open to the idea.
So, what changed?
The Jazz have been stuck toward the bottom of the Western Conference for several years.
They have multiple promising young players and draft assets, but nothing to show for it yet.
Perhaps it is time for them to actually make a move and take a risk.
Plus, they know that many teams across the league would be desperate for a player like Kessler.
He is a young big man with a lot of upside and room to develop and become even better.
He could fetch them quite a lot on the trade market.
This rumor about Kessler comes on the heels of others about Collin Sexton, Jordan Clarkson, and more.
The Jazz could be gearing up to radically transform this summer, which may be a turning point for the team and its loyal fan base.
