The Oklahoma City Thunder will be on the road on Wednesday night as they take on the Indiana Pacers at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Game 3 of the NBA Finals.
Oklahoma City enters Wednesday’s contest looking to take control of the series after they were able to tie it up with a dominant victory in Game 2 at home on Sunday night after they collapsed in Game 1.
Now the Thunder will look to do what the Pacers did to them in Game 1 in stealing a victory on the road and if they want to do so they will need their stars in Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Chet Holmgren and Jalen Williams along with their bench to continue to play at a high level.

For the Pacers, they struggled mightily in Game 2 after pulling off a stunning last-second victory in Game 1 and they also had some concerns regarding their star point guard Tyrese Haliburton after Sunday’s loss.
Haliburton had a noticeable limp after meeting with the media after Game 2, which is not a good sign for the Pacers.
On Tuesday, Pacers head coach Rick Carlisle provided an update regarding Haliburton’s injury and it is a good sign for Indiana.
“He’s getting better,” Carlisle said about Haliburton before Game 3.
Haliburton was able to go through practice on Tuesday ahead of Wednesday’s game and he is expected to be good to go for Game 3.
This is massive news for the Pacers as Haliburton has been a key reason for their run to the NBA Finals this season, though he has struggled in the series thus far despite hitting the game-winning shot in Game 1.

So far in the series, Haliburton has scored a combined 31 points and dished out 12 total assists and he has also struggled shooting the ball thus far.
With his injury scare, the hope for the Pacers is that he will be able to turn things around at home as they will need him to play at an elite level if they want to win the first championship in franchise history.
