Danica Patrick is sharing an update on her dating life, amid her recent allegation that ex-boyfriend Aaron Rodgers was “emotionally abusive.”

In a guest spot on the Believe in the Good podcast, the former race car driver confirmed that she is single.

“Are you single right now?” podcast host Haley Dillon, the wife of NASCAR driver Ty Dillon, asked.

“Yeah,” Patrick, 43, said, while smiling and nodding her head.

Dillon then replied: “I’m gonna be interested to see who’s sliding into my DMs to get to your DMs.”

“That makes me screwed, so screwed,” the 2008 Indy Japan 300 winner joked. “Not literally either.”

Two weeks earlier, on the May 21 episode of The Sage Steele Show, Patrick opened up about her time with the NFL quarterback.

When Steele asked Patrick to share “the most amount of pain” she’s experienced in her life, Patrick replied, “The breakup with Aaron in 2020.”

“Because it was sudden, it felt like. It was my life. So like when you live with somebody, it’s your whole life,” she said. “And because the nature of the relationship was emotionally abusive, so that wore me down to nothing.”

The former racer and model continued, “People could never imagine that I would lack … any confidence or belief in the simple things about who I am. Everything was torn to bits. Yeah, he leaves a trail of blood. I don’t think I’m saying too much earth-shattering stuff after we — there’s been enough out there."

A representative for Rodgers did not respond to PEOPLE's request for comment about Patrick's allegation.

Patrick and Rodgers met at the 2012 ESPYs and had kept in touch throughout the years before confirming their relationship in January 2018.
