Ipswich Town youngster Jamie Mauge has signed his first professional deal with the club, agreeing a two-year contract.

The 18-year-old forward has been at Town since the summer of 2020 after joining from Needham Market’s youth set-up as an Under-15.

Mauge has been a regular for the Blues' U18s side, before stepping up to the U21s, where he scored three goals for John McGreal's side in 2024/25.

During the second half of last season, he spent some time on loan at Suffolk non-league side Bury Town, where he enjoyed his spell under former Town midfielder Cole Skuse.

He is the son of Ronnie, who was also a footballer, playing for the likes of Fulham, Bury, Plymouth Argyle and Bristol Rovers. He also won caps for Trinidad and Tobago at senior level.
