Myles Garrett has serious trash talk for Aaron Rodgers

Cleveland Browns star Myles Garrett has wasted no time giving the newest AFC North quarterback some added motivation heading into the 2025 season.

At the start of minicamp on Tuesday, Garrett was asked by a reporter if he has any thoughts about Aaron Rodgers signing a deal to become the next starting quarterback of the Pittsburgh Steelers. The former NFL Defensive Player of the Year responded with some trash talk.

“I think it’s a good opportunity to put him in the graveyard,” Garrett said with a smirk.

Garrett did not mean that literally, of course. The six-time Pro Bowl selection is known for decorating his front yard on Halloween with tombstones that feature the names of NFL quarterbacks. The Browns face the Steelers in Pittsburgh on Oct. 12 this season, so Garrett will have a chance to back up his trash talk before Halloween.

Garrett has 14 or more sacks in each of the past four seasons, so the odds favor him getting to Rodgers at least once. Rodgers also is not nearly as mobile as he was in his prime.

It will be fascinating to watch Rodgers play in the AFC North, which is known for being one of the most physical divisions in the NFL. Garrett will present a big challenge for Pittsburgh’s offensive line just like he does with every other team.
