How much Jobe Bellingham will earn per week at Borussia Dortmund after leaving Sunderland AFC

Jobe Bellingham has signed a five-year deal with Borussia Dortmund after helping Sunderland gain promotion back to the Premier League.

The 19-year-old has just enjoyed a fine individual campaign with the Black Cats, helping them to promotion after a 2-1 win over Sheffield United at Wembley in the play-off final.

Bellingham was an integral part of Regis Le Bris’ XI this season, and his form saw him named as Championship Young Player of the Year. Therefore, despite winning promotion, there has been plenty of speculation surrounding the future of the midfielder.

Further reports have claimed that Dortmund will pay over £27m for the player, with further add-ons meaning the deal could eventually exceed £30m.

As you would expect, Bellingham is also in line for a pay rise, with Sky Sports’ journalist Keith Downie stating the teenager will now earn around £70,000 a week with the Bundesliga side.

That won’t have been the prime motivation for Bellingham with this deal, as Dortmund provides him with the platform to compete for trophies both domestically and in Europe, with featuring in the Champions League a massive appeal for the youngster.
