The Arizona Cardinals had an up-and-down 2024 season.
Now, with quarterback Kyler Murray fully healthy, another year of head coach Jonathan Gannon, and wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. entering his second season, expectations are higher for the offense this season.
Harrison entered the NFL with plenty of hype and praise, with some going as far as to say that he was the greatest wide receiver prospect of all time, or at least of the past couple of decades.
He showed some glimpses of that during his rookie season, but he looks like he’s ready to take things to a new level.
As shown by Bleacher Report on X, Harrison bulked up significantly during the offseason.

He’s clearly been hitting the gym, and that should help him thrive against the physical coverage he faced as a rookie.
He made 62 receptions for 885 receiving yards and eight touchdowns, and he had some games when he proved to be able to handle a WR1 workload.
Unfortunately, and inexplicably, he wasn’t as involved in the passing game as one would expect, and improving his chemistry with Murray will be crucial.
Even though the Cardinals aren’t considered likely to make the playoffs, they could have one of the strongest QB-WR combos in the league.
Harrison looks like a man on a mission ahead of his second season, and the rest of the league better take note.
