Saints workout former Raider and Chief offensive lineman Vitaliy Gurman

The New Orleans Saints are working out former Jets and Chiefs offensive lineman, Vitaliy Gurman, on Tuesday, per Aaron Wilson.

The Saints have brought in a handful of players for workouts this week. They’ve hosted former XFL tight end Seth Green, former Bills and Jaguars wide receiver Gabe Davis, former Vikings and Rams running back Cam Akers and now Gurman.

Gurman signed with the Kansas City Chiefs as a UDFA after the conclusion of the 2022 NFL Draft. Since then he’s bounced around a bit, spending time with the Las Vegas Raiders, New York Jets and Arizona Cardinals. He’s never played an NFL snap in the regular season and most recently spent time in the XFL with the San Antonio Brahmas.

The Saints seem to have an ideal starting five along their offensive line, but they need to find some more depth. They’ve been one of the most injured teams in the league in recent years, so finding solid depth pieces will be paramount.

The Saints currently have Dillon Radunz and Will Clapp as their primary backups at the guard position, but again, finding more depth will never hurt.
