Cristiano Ronaldo has asked Saudi giants Al-Nassr to sign Manchester United misfit Alejandro Garnacho this summer.
According to a report from Fichajes, Cristiano Ronaldo wants to reunite with Alejandro Garnacho at Al-Nassr ahead of next season. The Portuguese superstar, who is currently in talks to renew his contract at the club, has asked for the signing of the Argentine international, who is close to parting ways with Manchester United.
Garnacho joined Manchester United from Atletico Madrid towards the end of 2020. He went up the ranks at some pace and got promoted to their first team in 2022 and has not looked back since. While the youngster has established himself as a key figure in the team and has been putting in consistent performances, his future at the club has been up in the air.
The arrival of Ruben Amorim has had a massive impact on Garnacho’s role in the team. He had a rift with the manager quite early in his tenure and was even dropped from the squad for a few fixtures. After playing a key role in their Europa League journey, the Madrid-born winger was reduced to a substitute role in the final.
The Argentine international was not happy about it and publicly displayed his disappointment. Given how things have panned out under Amorim, the 20-year-old is ready to part ways with the club. Manchester United have held discussions around his future, and they are also ready to sell Alejandro Garnacho as long as their demands are met.

Signing the 20-year-old could go a long way in helping Al-Nassr challenge for all major titles and at the same time convince Ronaldo to extend his stay at the club. While convincing the Madrid-born winger to leave Europe this early in his career is a very difficult task, they do have a massive advantage as Garnacho is a big admirer of Ronaldo.
The Portuguese international is the biggest inspiration for the Manchester United whizkid, and that connection could be used as a major lure to bring him to the Middle East. In addition to offering a starring role and the chance to play alongside Ronaldo once again, the club is prepared to offer a lucrative salary.
