Manchester United have enquired about a move for Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma as a potential replacement for Andre Onana. The Red Devils are searching for a new goalkeeper in the transfer market this summer to replace their mistake-prone starter.
Onana has made several costly mistakes since joining the Red Devils under Erik ten Hag in the summer of 2023. The Cameroonian international succeeded legendary goalkeeper David De Gea at the club but failed to live up to the demands.
United have a rich history of deploying legendary keepers like Edwin van der Sar and Peter Schmeichel, bringing them success. However, Onana has failed to continue that tradition, and United need a quick solution to their goalkeeping problems this summer.

Under Ruben Amorim, the Red Devils have made drastic changes so far, putting their complete faith in their Portuguese boss. However, the goalkeeping position is crucial to start Amorim’s long-term project at the club, as it defines stability and reliability.
Onana joined Man United for £47.2m from Inter Milan and had two years to prove his worth at the club. As things stand, Amorim needs a new goalkeeper or his squad overhaul will remain unfulfilled if players worry about defence.
According to the Daily Mail, United have made enquiries to sign Paris SG goalkeeper Donnarumma as a replacement for Onana. A recent report suggested that PSG have set a valuation of £34m for Donnarumma as he enters his last contractual year.
