Chelsea have been showing interest in one Premier League winger. The player is also wanted by Newcastle United. He has €100 million release clause. Now, both the Blues and Magpies have been handed major boost to sign him.
Chelsea are in need of new wingers this summer. They are already missing Mudryk whereas Nkunku and Felix are set to be sold. On the other hand, Madueke and Neto have been unable to stay consistent. Lastly, the Blues have already sent Sancho back from loan to Man United.
On the other hand, Newcastle have ended their major trophy drought this season. Eddie Howe is keen to keep winning titles and hence wants some big names. They are likely to sign a new winger along with a backup striker for Isak. Both, Chelsea and Newcastle have one common target who has proved in Premier League.
The star in question here is Mohammed Kudus of West Ham United. He is 24 years old and plays for Ghana on international level. He is able to play on both wings, as an attacking midfielder and even as a striker. This makes him key asset for Hammers. Kudus has proved himself but is likely to get sold this summer.

Chelsea & Newcastle United handed boost in pursuit of Kudus
Kudus has so far scored 19 goals and picked 10 assists for Hammers in 80 games. He was very good last season, but has not been the same this season. As Hammers are in need of funds, they are said to sell Kudus this summer.
“West Ham probably, reluctantly, will sell him, because they know they have to, sort of fund their own rebuild of the squad, and Kudus will be sacrificed because of that” – Pete O’Rourke told Football Insider.
Despite struggling this season, Kudus has full potential to bounce back next season. He can be a good addition to both Chelsea and Newcastle. But, the only thing that can break the deal is his release clause. As of now, neither the Blues nor Magpies can agree to spend €100 million on Kudus.
