Tottenham Hotspur have been stepping up their interest in Brentford head coach Thomas Frank over the past few days.
On Friday, Tottenham decided to sack Ange Postecoglou as head coach following two years in charge of the club.
Despite guiding Tottenham to a Europa League final win over Manchester United last month, the Australian was unable to keep his job ahead of the 2025/26 campaign, having secured Champions League football.
Tottenham explained their reasons for sacking Postecoglou in a detailed statement, which did, however lack any comment from Daniel Levy.
The Spurs chairman is now on the lookout for the nineteenth person to lead from the touchline, and it appears that the search is nearly over.

Frank wants to bring members of his coaching staff to Tottenham
Frank has worked closely with a number of the Brentford backroom staff and talks are underway between the two clubs over how many of the team which the Dane will want to take with him.
Tottenham will have to pay Brentford £10m to release Frank from his contract with the figure set to rise dependent on how many of his team also head out of the exit.
One of those who has been discussed about heading to Tottenham is Justin Cochrane, who previously worked at the club before his departure in 2018.
It was earlier reported that Tottenham could appoint a set-piece coach Andreas Georgson who worked with Frank previously at Brentford, and has also spent time with Arsenal and Manchester United.
