Big Cooper Flagg News Turns Heads on Tuesday

Cooper Flagg is widely regarded as one of the best college basketball prospects in history, entering the NBA Draft as the consensus No. 1 overall pick.

Flagg is coming off his freshman season with the Duke Blue Devils, where he posted 19.2 points, 7.5 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game.

The Duke forward also averaged 1.4 steals and 1.4 blocks per game, leading the Blue Devils in all five statistical categories.

As he turns to his professional career, Flagg is projected to be selected by the Dallas Mavericks with the No. 1 overall pick.

Before the draft, which is set to take place on June 25 at 8 p.m. ET, insider Jonathan Givens announced that Cooper Flagg has received an invite to the green room, the center stage viewing for top draftees at Barclays Center.

"NEWS: Duke's Cooper Flagg, the projected No. 1 pick, has received a green room invite to attend the NBA Draft with his family, a source told ESPN."

Upon the release of the announcement, some fans took to social media, sharing their thoughts on Cooper Flagg receiving a green room invite.

Many fans seemingly joked about the official announcement, given Flagg's No. 1 overall projection.
