'Welcomed me' – World Cup finalist breaks silence on his club future amid Man Utd transfer interest, his stance is now…

Ruben Amorim is tipped to have a new striker among his ranks at Manchester United before the summer transfer window is done after the Red Devils’ struggles last season.

The 40-year-old Manchester United manager was forced to rely on Joshua Zirkzee and Rasmus Hojlund to lead the frontline after his arrival from Sporting CP in 2024.

Rasmus Hojlund disappointed in his second full season at Old Trafford and the 22-year-old United and Denmark striker only netted 10 times in 52 matches last season.

The Danish forward is under contract with United until 2028, but Rasmus Hojlund has attracted interest from Inter Milan and has been tipped for a summer exit.

Joshua Zirkzee, much like Hojlund, struggled to impress last season and the 24-year-old Netherlands striker scored seven times in 49 matches across all competitions.

The Red Devils forward, who is under contract until 2029, only arrived at Old Trafford last summer after United signed Zirkzee from Bologna for £36.54m.
