Of course, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has led the way for the Thunder this season and that has continued into the playoffs as he has been a key piece to their success.
Shai has put together a historic season and the NBA made an announcement regarding the MVP on Tuesday as he made more NBA history.
According to the NBA, Shai is just the 12th player in NBA history to score 3,000 total points combined in the regular season and postseason in a single season.
He joins some of the best players to ever play in the NBA by accomplishing this feat in Michael Jordan, Wilt Chamberlain, James Harden, Kevin Durant, Kobe Bryant, Shaquille O’Neal, Bob McAdoo, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Rick Barry, Elgin Baylor and Luka Doncic.
This is an incredible feat by Shai and just another historic accomplishment for the superstar point guard this season.
