Chelsea have reportedly left four stars out of their Club World Cup squad after they spent the 2024/25 campaign out on loan. Djordje Petrovic, Raheem Sterling, Joao Felix and Axel Disasi have all failed to make the squad for the tournament, which gets underway in the USA this weekend.
Enzo Maresca is preparing to lead his side into the club competition after the Blues won the Club World Cup in its previous format in 2022. And he has made some big calls with his choice of players, with the Blues reportedly viewing the tournament as an extension of last season. However, Andrey Santos, who spent last season on loan at Strasbourg has been handed special treatment as he has been included.
