As the Kansas City Chiefs ramp up their final week of Organized Team Activities (OTAs) at the Truman Sports Complex, attention briefly shifted away from Patrick Mahomes’ evolving offense to the team’s veteran tight end, Travis Kelce.
The Chiefs concluded their second phase of OTAs on June 5, and Phase 3 officially resumes on Tuesday, with three more voluntary practices before mandatory minicamp begins next week, running from June 17-19.
Kelce, entering his 13th NFL season at age 35, opted to train in Miami during the off days this week, where he was photographed arriving at a South Beach gym early Tuesday morning.
Reactions online have skewed decisively in favor of giving Kelce some breathing room.
"That’s so sad. Leave Kelce alone," said one user.
"bruh let the man work out in peace," replied another fan.
"Why are you posting this???" commented one other user.
"They are purposely taking pics of him from awkward angles for clout. ð," another commenter replied.
"As a HUGE fan, I really mean this, WHO THE [expletive] cares. Let this man workout in peace...This unproblematic king is getting his old bones in the best shape for his 13th season en route to the Hall of Fame," said another fan.
To which one other user responded, "Amen."

Since being selected in the third round (63rd overall) by Kansas City in 2013, Kelce has amassed 12,151 receiving yards, the most in Chiefs franchise history and the third-most all-time by any tight end.
Kelce has also reached 1,000 receiving yards in seven consecutive seasons, a feat unmatched at his position, and has won three Super Bowl rings (LIV, LVII, LVIII), seven All-Pro honors and 10 Pro Bowl selections.
