Stefon Diggs seems to be on the same page with Drake Maye already.
The Patriots quarterback on Monday praised his newest weapon for being [an “awesome teammate”](https://nesn.com/2025/06/drake-maye-praises-stefon-diggs-as-awesome-teammate/) and applauded the veteran for all of his success in the league. Diggs, whether he heard Maye’s comments or not, returned the favor one day later.
“I like him,” Diggs told reporters when asked about working with Maye, [per CLNS Media](https://x.com/PatriotsCLNS/status/1932520676990333372). “I can’t say too much because I haven’t been out there much. But as far as personality-wise, he a dawg. You can tell he’s a dawg from the get-go.”
Diggs, who’s been at mandatory minicamp after missing an OTA session, credited Maye for his offseason approach.
“I can see he’s committed to the process,” Diggs said. “He wants to play well. I know he’s been here all spring. So, just to see him out there — he’s been real helpful, too.”

Perhaps that work will soon continue outside of Foxboro, Mass., as the Patriots wrap up their offseason program Wednesday. It would go a long way if Diggs and Maye worked together at some point(s) during the next six weeks.
