Steelers' Aaron Rodgers Delivers Promising Message to Rookie Quarterback at Mini-Camp

The Pittsburgh Steelers have brought in a new face to lead the team at the quarterback position this past week.

Aaron Rodgers has signed with the team over the weekend and will look to take on the starting quarterback position for the Steelers in the 2025 season.

It was just in time for Rodgers to sign his contract and report to the Steelers' mini-camp, which began in recent days.

With this being said, Rodgers will join his third team he's played for in his 21-year career after spending time with the Green Bay Packers and New York Jets. He proved that he's able to produce in the second half of his career, after passing for 3,896 yards, 28 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions in 2024 with the Jets.

Aaron Rodgers says he's ready to guide Will Howard in his time with the Steelers

His veteran leadership and experience will be beneficial for the Steelers' roster, particularly for rookie Will Howard.

Howard was drafted by the Steelers in the sixth round of the 2025 NFL Draft out of Ohio State University.

He was able to lead the Buckeyes to a National Championship in his final season in college and is ready to take on a new chapter in his career in the NFL.

Aaron Rodgers spoke with the press on Monday on Will Howard, saying, "I'm gonna be with him every single day and every single meeting... I'm gonna help him out as much as I can."

The advice that Aaron Rodgers will be able to give to Will Howard is something that not every rookie quarterback has in their first year in the league.

As Rodgers is expected to be the starting quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers for the start of the 2025 season, Will Howard will be able to sit out moving forward and learn from a future Hall of Fame quarterback.
