PITTSBURGH --Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers just revealed, after much speculation about the ring on his finger, that he is officially married.
Rodgers confirmed the speculation on Tuesday, saying he has been married for a few months. That was one of the announcements in sea of them from Rodgers, who opened up his press conference by saying he made the choice ‘from the soul’ rather than doing it for money or anything else.
The Steelers had talked to Rodgers for two months, and they were waiting to see if he would sign a contract to play for them. Their wait is over, as the four-time MVP is a Steeler.
Rodgers had 28 touchdowns to 11 interceptions in 2024. He went just 5-12 in his starts with the Jets, and even after they acquired Davante Adams, went just 3-8. It was a tough season for Rodgers, who also had multiple leg injuries.
The Steelers think something remains in the tank for the former four-time MVP. They zeroed in on him as their target, as a result, especially after missing on re-signing Justin Fields.
Now, Rodgers will be with the Steelers on a deal that will not break the bank, and could still land them another wide receiver to help Rodgers.
