Man United are amongst a group of six Premier League teams to be offered a defender from the Bundesliga.

However, one area of the pitch that may also need improvement is in defence, as the Red Devils lost both Victor Lindelof and Jonny Evans, whose contracts expire this month, meaning they may need more depth at the back.

Premier League teams offered Bayern star

Bayern Munich recently signed former Bayer Leverkusen defender Jonathan Tah, who left Leverkusen as a free agent following a spell of 10 years with the German side. It means that Munich have now offered defender Min-Jae Kim for a potential transfer this summer.

Bayern Munich bought the 28-year-old Korean defender from Napoli in 2023 for a fee of £51 million, but it now seems that they are willing to let him go after they had signed Tah from Leverkusen.

The report says that Kim has a desire to play in the Premier League despite the fact that there is interest from PSG, AC Milan and Saudi Pro League clubs, meaning that he could be up for a move to Old Trafford, should United make a move for him.

Kim’s £51m transfer fee in 2023 made him a record-breaker, as he was the most expensive Asian player in history but as Bayern are willing to sell him, they could accept even less than that.

The South Korean international made 27 Bundesliga appearances for Vincent Kompany’s side last season, helping them to a league title following Leverkusen’s league win the season prior.

Man United also linked to Sporting CP centre-back

Diomande, 21, is expected to cost around £51m, and he made 46 appearances for the Ivorian defender, he scored two goals and provided one assist for Sporting, even though he is more of an outright stopper, but he can also comfortably play the ball out of the defence, something ideal for a back three.

Portuguese outlet A Bola revealed already that Crystal Palace have enquired the defender, meaning that they could potentially be pre-empting a sale of England international Marc Guehi this summer.
