Fabrizio Romano has revealed the next player that Liverpool will sign after they reached a breakthrough in their pursuit of Florian Wirtz.
After seeing three of their bids worth over €100 million rejected by Bayer Leverkusen, the Reds arrived at a positive juncture in their attempt to sign Wirtz on Tuesday.
Reliable journalist Fabrizio Romano was the first to report that Liverpool had secured an agreement in principle to sign Wirtz.

His claim was corroborated by Sky Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg, who wrote “Florian Wirtz to Liverpool is considered to be a done deal! New talks today. A full agreement in principle has now been reached with Bayer 04 Leverkusen.”
With discussions between Liverpool and Leverkusen now verbally sealed, it is safe to say that the Reds have now secured their third signing of the summer.
Liverpool have already officially completed the signings of Jeremie Frimpong and Armin Percsi. Wirtz is now set to be their third summer signing, with the announcement of the deal set to take place in the coming days.
Liverpool are not expected to end their push for more reinforcements soon, with Romano now revealing which transfer fans should expect to be concluded in the coming days.
According to the journalist, having succeeded in their pursuit of Wirtz, Liverpool are set to turn attention to the signing of Milos Kerkez.
“The next one that’s gonna happen is Milos Kerkez. So get ready, Liverpool fans!” Romano said on his podcast on YouTube.
“Liverpool and Bournemouth have been speaking for weeks. Liverpool and the agent of Kerkez have been speaking for weeks. So the next one is going to be Milos Kerkez.”
