On Tuesday, the NFL star confirmed that he’d recently tied the knot. The quarterback sparked marriage rumors last month when he was spotted with a ring on his left hand. The news comes shortly after Rodgers, who is 41, announced that he’d be playing with the Pittsburgh Steelers next season.
Rodgers casually dropped the big relationship announcement during a press conference on June 10.
“Yeah, it’s a wedding ring,” the football vet told reporters, according to Sports Illustrated, adding that he’d been married “a couple months.”
Late last year, Rodgers revealed that he was dating a woman named Brittani. He didn’t confirm that Brittani was the woman he married, but there’s a good chance that she was the person to whom he said “I do.”
Who is Aaron Rodgers’ wife?
The recently hitched Rodgers didn’t reveal any more details about his marriage. He first announced that he was dating Brittani in December 2024, when he told ESPN’s Pat McAfee that he was “in love.”
“It’s a good feeling boys. It is,” he said.
Almost nothing is known about the mystery woman who has captured Rodgers’ heart. She has no public social media, and Rodgers has not shared her full name. But he did clarify that she’s not the world’s most famous Britney.
“Not Britney Spears, no, this is Brittani with an ‘i,’” he told McAffee.
“She doesn’t watch the show, I don’t think” Rodgers added. “She doesn’t have social media. She’s smart.”
Given some of Rodgers’ past comments about feeling uncomfortable in the spotlight, it’s perhaps no surprise that he’s keeping mostly quiet about his latest romance. He was previously engaged to Shailene Woodley and also dated Olivia Munn and Danica Patrick. In Netflix’s 2024 documentary Aaron Rodgers: Enigma, he said he didn’t enjoy the notoriety that came with dating famous women.
“I didn’t do myself any favors with some of the girls I dated after that that were in the public eye,” he shared.
“I definitely hated it at first – like, really despised it,” Rodgers added about his fame. “I enjoyed my private life.”
Now in his 40s, Rodgers says he’s taking a different approach to his life.
“I’m in a different phase of my life,” he told McAfee in April 2025. “I’m 41 years old. I’m in a serious relationship. I have off-the-field stuff going on that requires my attention. I have personal commitments I made not knowing what my future was going to look like after last year, that are important to me.”
