As the NBA offseason nears, trade rumors have begun to heat up as many expect this summer to be full of change.
One player who has been at the center of trade rumors since the trade deadline is Phoenix Suns star forward Kevin Durant.
Of course, the Suns reportedly listened to offers for Durant ahead of the trade deadline but they ultimately elected to keep him on their roster for the remainder of the season.

That is not expected to be the case this summer though, as the Suns are expected to move on from both him and Bradley Beal to rebuild their roster around Devin Booker.
With Durant likely on the move this offseason, there have been many teams linked to the future Hall of Famer including the San Antonio Spurs, Houston Rockets and Minnesota Timberwolves to name a few.
On Tuesday, ESPN’s Zach Lowe mentioned another team that is expected to enter the Kevin Durant sweepstakes in the Miami Heat.
Miami was reportedly one of the teams that called the Suns about Durant at the trade deadline as Phoenix was trying to land Jimmy Butler from Miami.
Of course, the Heat ended up trading Butler to the Golden State Warriors, but they are still looking to upgrade their roster this summer and Durant is expected to be a target for him.
For the Heat to land Durant, they would likely have to build a package centered around Andrew Wiggins, Jaime Jaquez Jr. and Duncan Robinson to match salaries.
Durant would be a solid addition to a Heat team that is in desperate need of a No. 1 scoring option and that is exactly what the star forward would give them.
A new star trio of Durant, Bam Adebayo and Tyler Herro could make the Heat contenders once again but other teams may be able to offer a better package to the Suns in exchange for Durant.
