Manchester United are one of several clubs weighing up a move for Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi, according to journalist Ben Jacobs.
Speaking on The United Stand YouTube channel, Jacobs said that the Red Devils, Everton and Saudi Pro League side Al-Ahli are all considering whether to sign the Nigerian international.
A release clause, which was activated on Leicester’s relegation, means that Ndidi can be signed for just £9m and fans on X have been discussing whether United should pay the requisite fee:

Ndidi would add greater depth in midfield
The 28-year-old first joined Leicester all the way back in January 2017, with many tipping him to replace N’Golo Kante, who had joined Chelsea six months earlier.
Ndidi never quite reached the heights of the French World Cup winner but he has been a solid performer for the Foxes over the years.
Man United will have to play smart in the transfer market
The Manchester club are not exactly flush with cash but head coach Ruben Amorim is keen on adding extra physicality and energy in midfield.
Ndidi could be an economical solution, although you do feel he would only be a stopgap until a longer-term signing is brought in.
