All the latest news and transfer rumours surrounding Arsenal as they continue their bid to strengthen.

Arsenal are still battling to improve their squad, although they have not made much use of the 10-day special early transfer window. The bulk of Arsenal’s transfer business will be done in the usual summer window, although they can agree deals before then ready for them to become official when the window reopens.

The Gunners are expected to spend big this summer in a bid to help Mikel Arteta finally achieve his mission of ending the club’s more than two decade wait for another Premier League title. In the meantime, we have rounded up all the latest news and transfer rumours surrounding the Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal like Elanga

Arsenal are said to be interested in Nottingham Forest winger Anthony Elanga who has kicked on in a big way since leaving Manchester United. The Boot Room claim the Gunners have expressed an interest as they look to snap up a winger, but a deal will not come cheap.

It’s reported that Forest will command £60million from any interested parties this summer, and with other options available for cheaper, including Nico Williams, that could be enough to take him off the table.

Zinchenko offered

Oleksandr Zinchenko appears to be looking for a new club amid the expectation he would move on this summer. The Ukrainian has struggled for regular game time over the last year but will feel he is plenty capable of being a starter in the top echelon of any of Europe’s top divisions.

According to TuttoJuve, Zinchenko has been offered out to Serie A clubs in recent days, with Lazio, Juventus and AC Milan all reportedly being offered a deal to sign the experienced full-back. Arsenal are said to want between £8.4million and £12.6million this summer but there are no takers from Serie A clubs just yet.

Tuchel on Arsenal ‘advantage’

Thomas Tuchel believes Liverpool and Arsenal will have an advantage in next season’s Premier League title race due to not being included in the FIFA Club World Cup as Chelsea and Manchester City are.

"I think (the Club World Cup) will have a huge impact and it will give Liverpool and Arsenal a huge advantage in the next season to not be there," Tuchel said in a press conference. "I think it will be a very nice experience for the players who are there to play this tournament for the first time, so I have mixed feelings about it. I decided not to worry too much, because why should I? It is a given, and no-one knows what will be the outcome of it or the effect.

"We will deal with the effect when the effect comes and let's see.” On players playing even more games, Tuchel continued: “There is not one player who says 'by the way, I would like to be on the bench and save myself for the Club World Cup'. They are hungry to play. The games are not the problem, it is just the amount of time that it occupies from the players, and they need a proper rest somewhere in this calendar which they hardly get."
