On Tuesday, in hiscolumn for CaughtOffside, Arsenal insider Charlie Watts noted that the Gunners will be vying for a wingerand itwouldn’t surprise him that Rodrygo is the prime candidate to fill that position.
“A winger should be the priority for me and I think it will be, which is why there is strong interest in the likes of Rodrygo and Nico Williams,”Watts wrote. “If Arsenal were going to try and raid Villa for anyone this summer, I think the more likely option would be they return for Ollie Watkins, a player we know they tried to sign just a few months ago.”
As forPSG they have a lot of talent at the wing, but recently, Bradley Barcola is on BayernMunich’s radar, so it will be interesting to see if the capital clubdo indeed need a winger before the summer transfer window closes.
