Kyrie Irving has had enough of all the online mockery received by Karl-Anthony Towns on a daily basis.
The New York Knicks center has been ridiculed on social media for his ever-changing voice and what fans describe as a “zesty” personality. Despite a fantastic first season with the Knicks, Towns still got clowned by opposing fans during the postseason. Even Knicks fans themselves were in on it.

Irving addressed the issue during a recent livestream on Twitch. The Dallas Mavericks guard made a plea to his viewers to “stop making fun” of Towns.
“Y’all gotta stop making fun of my brother KAT,” said Irving. “I’m done with y’all. It’s over now. It’s a f—ing wrap. Repost that s–t again and meme him up, I’m attacking you. Not like that, physically … But, I’m attacking you.
“Leave KAT alone, okay? Because y’all don’t know what it’s like growing up in Jersey and have all of these cultures that you’re a part of. Trust me on that.”

Irving explained that Towns’ multi-cultural upbringing in the Garden State heavily influenced the man he grew up to be. While Irving was born in Melbourne, Australia, his family later moved to New Jersey. Kyrie’s hometown of West Orange is just a 30-minute drive away from KAT’s hometown of Edison.
Towns has more to deal with than just haters online. Despite KAT posting a productive season by the numbers, the Knicks were said to have grown “frustrated” with Towns as the season went by.
