Manchester City superstar Jack Grealish could potentially be on his way to Everton this summer transfer window.

David Moyes may be able to convince the England international, and a move to Hill Dickinson Stadium could be on the cards [Daily Mail].

Pep Guardiola seems to have lost faith in Grealish, and it wouldn’t be surprising to see the 29-year-old leave the Etihad Stadium this summer.

The Cityzens signed the forward for £100million from Aston Villa, and the Merseyside outfit having a chance of signing him have been dismissed.

Borson jests Man City to pay Grealish £20m salary at Everton

Stefan Borson jested that Man City would pay Grealish’s £20million salary if the Toffees sign him on loan.

MORE TOFFEES STORIES

Ian Herbert hinted in the Daily Mail (10 June) that the Blues could have a chance to sign the Englishman temporarily, with the Sky Blues subsidising his wages.

The finance expert seemed baffled by the suggestion and quipped that the Cityzens would love to pay the 29-year-old’s entire salary during his potential stay at the Merseyside outfit.

Borson wrote on X (10 June): “I’m sure City will love to pay his £20m salary at Everton. Why not? Top idea.”

Moyes shouldn’t entertain Grealish transfer rumours

Moyes’ return to Goodison Park saw the Toffees go on an impressive run in the Premier League, finishing the season in 13th place after fears of relegation under Sean Dyche.

The Scottish manager will now be expected to make further progress next season with the move to the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

Supporters have grown wary of seeing the Blues involved in relegation battles over the years and will want to see them competing further up the table in the upcoming campaign.

Everton evidently have several transfer priorities for Moyes, but the most pressing one will be the signing of a new centre-forward.

The Scottish manager will undoubtedly not be listening to the voice surrounding Grealish’s prospective move to the Toffees and will be focused on finding a replacement for Dominic Calvert-Lewin, who could leave soon.

A new number nine should be the Blues’ primary concern this summer, with a lack of options up front.

While The Friedkin Group (TFG) will undoubtedly be willing to spend a significant sum at the Merseyside outfit, they’ll be averse to potentially spending most of it on the Man City star, who has 39 caps for England.

The ex-Aston Villa forward’s signing seems like a pipe dream for the Toffees, and it would be best for them not to entertain the noise and focus on reinforcing other areas.
