With pre-season approaching fast, Barcelona are stepping up efforts to trim down their squad ahead of a busy summer.
A number of players have already been placed on the exit list, as the club looks to create space – both financially and structurally – for new arrivals.
Among the eight players expected to leave by the end of the month is Pau Victor, the young forward who spent last season with Barça Atletic.
Despite his strong performances in the reserve team, a place in the senior team continues to elude him, which may just prove to be the catalyst for a summer departure.

According to Diario SPORT, Pau Victor is now eager to leave Barcelona in pursuit of more regular first-team football.
The 22-year-old forward, who still has a contract until 2029, believes he needs a more prominent role to continue his development.

While there were initial discussions about another loan, both the player and the club are now leaning towards a permanent transfer.
Barça’s sporting management, led by Deco, is hoping to include a sell-on clause in any deal, in case the striker flourishes elsewhere.
Victor, a product of Girona’s academy, had a solid year with the reserves and showed flashes of quality that caught the attention of clubs across Spain.
However, with no clear pathway to the first team, a summer departure is considered the best move for his career.
Several clubs have already shown interest in the young forward, who is valued at around €5 million by Barcelona. Keeping that in mind, it will be interesting to see what the future holds for the player this summer.
