Viktor Gyokeres has reportedly made it clear he wants to leave Sporting Lisbon, amid the latest reports in the media that the likes of ARSENAL and Manchester United are reportedly interested in a potential deal.
Gyokeres has become one of the most in-demand strikers in world football after another season in which he broke the 50 goal barrier in all competitions, and is a player that is heavily tipped to make the move to the Premier League.
Arsenal are desperate to add to that front line after another season in which they played brilliant football, but failed to pick up any trophies that would add to the FA Cup Mikel Arteta has won since being boss of the Gunners.
Man United are also very desperate to add to that squad and are very keen to re-unite Ruben Amorim with the player that brought him so much success over in the Portuguese League, they really need a new striker at the club.
Despite links with the Premier League 12 months ago, Gyokeres remained at Sporting but it was reportedly agreed that he could leave for favourable terms this summer, and A bola has claimed that he he has made it clear he wants to leave this summer
IcFootballnews Says…
There is already so much speculation and rumours about the future of Gyokeres, he is a player that both ARSENAL and Man United would surely love to have in the side, he would score goals in those attacks that is for sure.
If Arsenal managed to get the player, he would probably break the 50 goal barrier once again. If Man United managed to get a transfer deal done, he could really struggle to make the impact that Ruben Amorim would him to have.
The transfer window has only just started, it will be very interesting to see just where he ends up.
