Alejandro Garnacho wants to play for Real Madrid. But the dream has reportedly been shut down by the Spanish.
Madrid Not Keen on Garnacho Despite Player’s Interest
Alejandro Garnacho has long admired Real Madrid and hoped to wear their famous white shirt one day. That is especially to follow in the footsteps of his idol, Cristiano Ronaldo.
However, as per reports from Spain, that dream won’t be coming true this summer window or anytime soon. The Los Blancos have no plans to sign the 20-year-old this June. Also, Garnacho plays as the left-winger. That is a same role as of Vinicius Junior’s, and the Brazilian star will be a regular in the starting IX. Given that, Madrid see no room for the Argentine winger in Xabi Alonso’s squad. He had impressive 11 goals and 10 assists last season. But, Real don’t see him as a fit in their current setup.
Al-Nassr Eye Move with Ronaldo’s Backing
The door to the Bernabeu has closed, another one has opened for the youngster. Reports say Cristiano Ronaldo has told Al-Nassr to go all out to sign Garnacho. The idea of playing alongside his idol could be tempting for the winger, especially after the fallout at Man Utd.
Garnacho was unhappy at being benched during the Europa League final. That has reportedly led to manager Ruben Amorim telling him he was free to leave. With Arsenal and Chelsea sniffing around, Al-Nassr are hoping CR7’s influence will give them the edge.
The Saudi Arabian side is likely ready to match Manchester Utd’s valuation. They are confident that they can pull off the deal this summer transfer window. If Garnacho chooses the Middle East move, it could be the start of a whole new chapter in his career.—with his football hero right by his side.
