Everton, Wolves and Fulham are eyeing moves for former West Ham defender Vladimir Coufal on a free transfer, sources have told Football Insider.
Newly promoted trio Leeds, Burnley and Sunderland are also monitoring the Czech Republic international’s situation as they look to add Premier League experience to their squads.
Coufal, 32, is a free agent this summer after leaving West Ham upon the expiration of his contract following five years with the Irons.
Everton are also in the market for defensive reinforcements at right-back and Toffees boss David Moyes is a big fan of Coufal having worked with him at West Ham.

Coufal was effectively replaced by Aaron Wan-Bissaka at West Ham last summer (2024) but remained at the club into the 2024-25 campaign to provide cover and competition.
He made 25 appearances across all competitions but failed to score or assist in those outings.
The 55-cap international star has made 147 total appearances in the Premier League and was a crucial part of the West Ham side which won the Uefa Conference League in 2023.

Everton frontrunners in Grealish race
Meanwhile, Football Insider has also revealed (11 June) that Everton and Newcastle United are leading the race to sign Man City star Jack Grealish.
Sources say a loan deal, with City covering a portion of the winger’s wages, is the “most likely” outcome.
Grealish is keen to feature regularly at any new club ahead of the World Cup in North America next year.
