**Leyton Orient have signed Manchester United midfielder Jack Moorhouse on loan for the season.**
The Republic of Ireland Under-21 international has not figured for the Premier League club's first team, but was among the substitutes for their [match against Tottenham Hotspur](/sport/football/live/cr5308e9q33t) in February.
Moorhouse joined the Red Devils in 2022 but only returned to action last season after spending a year out with an ankle injury.
Orient boss Richie Wellens [told the club website, external](https://www.leytonorient.com/news/2025/august/01/jack-moorhouse-joins-the-o-s-on-season-long-loan/): "He's an extremely talented footballer. He's a midfield player who can change the dynamic of a game. I think it's a really exciting signing for us, and he is a player who has got a lot of potential."
