Jadon Sancho is searching for a new club after being told he cannot prepare for the new season with Ruben Amorim’s squad.
Manchester United are currently in the United States for their pre-season tour.
Ruben Amorim’s squad have thus far played two matches in the US, beating West Ham and Bournemouth. They will take on Everton this weekend before travelling back home to face Fiorentina at Old Trafford.
That will wrap up preparations for the 2025/26 season as United will get their Premier League campaign underway with a home fixture against Arsenal, who are expected to compete for the title.
Amorim told five players they were not part of his plans for pre-season, including Jadon Sancho, after the winger returned from a loan spell at Chelsea.
In recent weeks, Sancho has been linked with a move away from United, but a deal has yet to materialise.
It doesn’t benefit Sancho in any way that he is missing pre-season training, but that won’t stop speculation from being spread over his future.

Jadon Sancho open to joining Juventus and Borussia Dortmund
There is no point in Sancho getting impatient over his future. He flopped at United, and few clubs are willing to take a risk on a player with such salary demands.

As it stands, Sancho is playing things out – but talks are ongoing with the likes of Juventus and former club Borussia Dortmund, where the winger previously had two successful stints.
Speaking to Graeme Bailey, United In Focus can reveal that Sancho is becoming a real issue for United, if he wasn’t already considered one by the majority of United fans.
“Jadon Sancho is a real issue for Manchester United as we have said before.
“We have seen deals with Chelsea and then Napoli collapse over his wages and the fact United would not subsidise them to the extent to get it done.”As we have revealed nobody has come as close as Juventus who remain keen, whilst Borussia Dortmund remain hugely keen.
“One problem United have is that the longer this goes on, the less likely they are to get a deal they want or desire – everyone knows they want him out and have little intention of reintegrating him into the first-team set-up.”Sancho himself is very much open to Juventus and Dortmund.”
Until a formal offer is made, Sancho’s future will be up in the air. Especially for however long he remains on United’s wage books.
Sancho willing to take pay cut
Sancho willing to take pay cut
The career of Sancho has been in freefall since he joined United in the summer of 2021.
After establishing himself in the Bundesliga at Dortmund, Sancho was considered one of the brightest young players in Europe, but he failed to reach expectations at Old Trafford.
According to BILD, Sancho is willing to take a 50% pay cut in order to re-join Dortmund.
Dortmund are sceptical about doing a deal for Sancho due to the criticism they could receive for lacking creativity in the transfer market.
It remains to be seen if Sancho will get a permanent move away from United.
